Perspex®, & Plexiglas® are all brands of acrylic and are the most commonly used product for display and point of sale. It comes in various colours and the thickness of the acrylic material ranges from 1.5mm to 50mm depending in clear and upto 30mm in black and white. Most colours are available in 3mm and 4.5mm thickness. Acrylic is durable and perfect for point of sale display and exhibition purposes. Acrylic can be easily fabricated into most profiles and shapes making it ideal material to achieve aesthetics and strength at the same time whilst being cost effective.
The standard sheet size is 2440mm x 1220mm. Larger sheets in sizes upto 3000mm x 2000mm are available in certain colours and thicknesses.
We have capability to cut the acrylic to most shape and sizes using our high technology machines such as German made Altendorf NC Panel Saw, German Laser cutting Rofin and our work horse Multi-cam CNC router.

Aluminium Composite Panel
Signage Grade Aluminium Composite Panel, also known as sandwich panel consists of a thermoplastic polyethylene core that is sandwiched between two outer flat aluminium panels. Alucobond, Dibond and Signbond are some of the popular available brands.
Lightweight, strong and durable, the material comes in a range of colours and finishes with improved ink adhesion so no preparation is needed for high definition printing.
PETG
PETG is an increasingly popular material being used for display products. From ticket holders, leaflet sleeves, large holder pockets to complex fabricated shapes. It is usually visible in the supermarket shelves in the form of Hang Cells or counter displays. To the layperson, it is the material used in soft drink bottles.
PETG is very durable, reasonably flexible and has high impact strength. PETG is easy to machine in CNC router and to form/heat bend into desired shapes. Standard sheet size is 2440mm x 1220mm and is available in a range of thicknesses from 0.5 to 3mm.
Polycarbonate
Polycarbonate also known as Lexan is normally used in any situation that requires a robust material. It is fantastic for machine guards, prisons, security and high traffic areas. It is available in clear, grey tint and pearl.
Standard sheet size is 2440mm x 1220mm but we can cut to any size and larger sheets are available.
MDF Board
From MDF Board through Aluminium and onto a variety of other substrates. Australian Plastic Fabricators can source and supply a wide variety of materials. Call us to discuss the suitability of the various substrates for your project – we can help you choose the best material for your project and budget.

Styrene, HIPS
Styrene or HIPS. Is used as a signage back ground and comes in various colors. Perfect for in-store signage, exhibitions and trade show displays.
